PRIMARY
PreK to 2nd grade
Movement is second nature to children. Because they are constantly on the go, kids need a setting that moves along with them.
Whether a kindergarten student uses our Seating Disc during circle-time on the floor, or a first grader focuses on center-work while sitting atop a Hokki Stool, WittFitt school furniture allow kids to rock and roll while they learn.
INTERMEDIATE
3rd to 6th Grade
Older elementary students need some flexibility, allowing their bodies to dictate how they learn best. For some, standing in the back of the room with our Alphabetter Desk, is most beneficial; for others, bouncing gently on a stability ball at their desk might be the most comfortable.
Attention span increases when a student’s body can shift, rock and bounce without disturbance.
SECONDARY
JH, MS, & HS
A typical high school classroom sees a rotation of 100+ students each day. Because adolescents vary in height and size, implementing movement-based school furniture into the classroom may seem challenging. WittFitt brings their expertise to work with teachers at this grade level to make movement a reality. WittFitt facilitates the connections you need with the classroom teachers to bring health, wellness and fitness education into every aspect of the students’ school day. We suggest that students using the WittFitt stability balls bring them to the PE setting for stations or other games to add variety to the curriculum.
